The story of Akashbari is inseparable from the vision of its founder, Touhidul Alam Milky. Born in the capital Dhaka. He witnessed firsthand the challenges Bangladeshi travelers faced in the late 2000 —limited options, unreliable services, and the absence of a trusted travel partner.
After completing his education and gaining experience in the aviation industry, Touhidul Alam Milky founded Akashbari in 2011 with a mission to revolutionize travel services in Bangladesh. With just three employees and a small office in Dhaka's Bananu area, he began offering holiday package tours.
His commitment to honesty, transparency, and customer satisfaction quickly earned Akashbari a reputation as a trustworthy name. Touhidul Alam Milky personally ensured that every traveler received personalized attention, often going beyond business hours to solve customer problems.
Under his leadership, Akashbari achieved several industry-firsts: the first Thailand tour package from Bangladesh, along with Srilanka-Maldives etc. His vision extended beyond business success—he wanted to empower Bangladeshis to explore the world with confidence.
Today, though semi-retired, Touhidul Alam Milky remains actively involved in guiding the company's strategic direction. His legacy of integrity, innovation, and customer-first approach continues to inspire every member of the Akashbari family.
